Can I bring my bairns?

As much as we would love to celebrate with all the kids unfortunately we can only invite those that are listed on the invite, we also would like for you to be able to let your hair down and have a boogie!

Can I bring my dog?

The venue is dog friendly however we kindly ask that you leave your furry pals at home.

What is the dress code?

Feel free to wear whatever you’re comfortable in, but bare in mind it will be February in Scotland so it will be pretty chilly…but kilts are encouraged! You can wear any kilt, don’t worry about the different clans!

(But no pressure if you prefer to wear trousers!)

Where is the ceremony and reception happening?

The ceremony is taking place in the Castle in the Grand Hall - there will be someone directing guests to the correct room. The reception is taking place in the Pavilion (which is the large onsite marquee which you can't miss!)

Should I bring a gift?

Since you’re traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! However if you would still like to provide a gift we have created a gift registry:

What about drinks?

There will be a drinks reception after the ceremony, however during the reception there will be a bar that takes cash and card.

What about shoes?

The venue is a historical building and the owners kindly ask that you consider wearing heel protectors if you are wearing high heels. But wear whatever you feel comfortable in - trainers or slippers would not be judged!

What about the weather?

It will be February in Scotland so there is a chance we will have all four seasons in one the day! But it will be cold so bring a warm coat but we are sure to warm up with all our party moves later on in the night!

What happens if it snows?

We have been assured by the venue that in the event of snow they are well prepared with snow ploughs!

Is there parking?

There is a large car park for guests which will be signposted

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately due to fire regulations we are limited on the number of people we are allowed in the venue so we can only invite those that are listed on the invitation

What is happening on the Sunday?

The Pavilion will be open from 12pm - 6pm, with a TV screen showing a Disney movie and the football. The bar will also be open for drinks to be purchased. Also due to numbers we have organised a food truck to come to the venue where food will be available to purchase

We look forward to seeing you!

Our celebration wouldn't be the same without you. Please let us know if you plan to attend by following the RSVP link below, and make note of any dietary restrictions or special requests.

Kindly RSVP by November 1st

Although we would appreciate a wedding gift, your presence is truly the only gift we need. We hope you thoroughly enjoy the wedding and let your hair down!

However if you would like to provide a gift we have created a gift registry and really appreciate your generosity!
